Welcome to the BAND

Founded in 1992 by Gord Hembruff, under the stewardship of the the Port Moody Community Music Society, the Port Moody Community Band is a community band dedicated to serving members of the Tri-Cities and beyond who would like to continue playing their wind instrument after high school. Rehearsing out of Port Moody Secondary School, the band is currently run by our musical director, Corey Smith, and continues to operate in cooperation with the music program of Port Moody Secondary, performing concerts in conjuction with the school, but also performing on their own in the community. The PMCB is always looking for new members, so if you are interested in dusting off your clarinet, and oiling up your trombone, please reach out and see how you can be a part of our group!
